Re: Tire size
There's a lot to that. Preferred look, backspacing of wheels, etc. That said, you might look around at other's builds on here and there's a few threads about the same. There's a bit of variation across the board. I have a 2.5"/3" setup on mine with 255/60/15 on the front and 275/60/15 on the rear.

Re: Tire size
That size should work just fine for that drop if you are wanting the same size front/rear. I'm assuming you are running 15x6 stock wheels with that size? I had that size tire front/rear on my truck when I dropped it.
It looked alright to me, but I prefer the fronts to be a bit smaller than the rears. So, I swapped out the fronts to a 215/75r15. I also mounted the 235/75r15s to some 15x8 wheels on the rear. For my level of drop, this big and small size differential looks better to me. It just comes down to your personal preference, but this at least gives you an idea of the difference in appearance between these two sizes. I've seen many people mention the 235/75 is close to the original stock size, however, I found that not to be the case on my truck. It originally came with some G78-15 bias ply tires and the 215/75r15 is a closer dimensional match to it.
