Brake boosters

Tried the search, but no luck. What years of Brake boosters will work? Is it year specific, or are they the same up till 1980 or so? They all look about the same at first glance.

Thanks for your help,

Davy

I think it is 67-72 specific. Maybe you could measure the spacing on the mounting bolts and see if it's the same.

krue, thanks. I'll have to check.

old Rusty, I'm not sure yet. No one has confirmed what years will interchange.

Thanks,

Davy

Krue is correct.

1/2 ton and 3/4 ton power boosters are not the same.
you need one for your year truck 67-70 have different boosters than 71-72.

I just got done putting the power booster on my 3/4 ton about an hour ago, well I should say I just got done dooing a complete disc brake swap and the last thing I put on was the booster and brake lines

according to autozone. if i had a 72 and 70 same 2 wd 1/2 ton. and the 72 had the bendix brake system... they would have the same booster
oreilly says the same thing...

but if the 72 had the delco type it is a different booster...

what is the difference in bendix and delco?
