Death Wobble
I just did a ls swap on my k20 72 4wd suburban. Before the swap I did not have the death wobble. After the swap and replacing all shocks with Rancho 9000xls (which I've tried adjusting them between 5-9) I've had the death wobble. Any ideas or help on what to do is very much appreciated!

Would check front ball joints and wheel bearings for play with no weight on the tires. With tires on ground have someone move steering wheel back and forth to check drag link and tie rod ends. Also check steering box for play or any movement and frame for any cracks at mounting points. Another point to inspect is the spring bushings.

Being that you had your engine out, the reduced weight on the front suspension may have caused an already wore out component to finally fail after getting the new engine installed.
