Just Wondering If Anyones Running a Vintage Air Heater With An American Autowire Harness..

If So Where Did You Get Power From?

I Know Theres An Accessory Plug With a Wire That Says
‘ Fused 30 Amp Battery )

Will This Work For a Battery Connection. Thanks

You can supply the air/heater controls from the AAW harness if you like. I didn't and here are the reasons;

To keep it simple I ran the two power wires from the battery like the Vintage Air directions recommended. That way if i have issues later it's wired like the directions indicate. So the power is taken from the Maxi Fuse AAW includes in the kit. Getting them through the fire wall was an interesting process.

Another reason I didn't use the AAW supplied power is only one heater circuit is provided. The air/heater takes two power inputs. I briefly thought about splicing the two wires together and using the single AAW provided wire. But decided not to do it I had to give the engineers some credit. And I had no idea what the circuit amp draw might be. You could always use the heater supplied circuit and one from the AUX plug you mentioned. That would be an great alternative and keep the firewall clean of "other wires".

Vintage Air Said The Brown 20 amp From The Fuse Box Is Fine. Has To Be 30 amp For A/C
