WTB: 1967 specific parts

I’m working on a 67 c10 and looking for the following 67 specific parts:

Interior rear view mirror complete assembly

CST horn button

Door handles and window cranks

Headlight knob with stainless center

Choke knob with stainless center

Cigarette lighter delete button

Heater control assembly

Also looking for super rare heater delete plate below ashtray

Chrome driver side vent window assembly

If anyone has any of these items for sale, I’m a buyer.

I probably have most of it in decent used condition. I will do a little looking...

Re: WTB: 1967 specific parts

Found a few parts here. No single 67 wing windows. Not parting with a heater delete either...
Everything is decent/driver quality. The face on the heater control is just starting to loosen, but not bad. Arms are all good as are the cables. Mirror glass will have a couple spots on it. Window cranks, one is pretty tight, the other is a little loose. The lighter delete will need a little glue from behind for a crack.
$135 for the above listed parts.

Horn caps, the one on the left is rough and will need work. $35 The middle one is useable with a couple broken tabs. $55 The right one has all of the tabs and a little pitting in the chrome. $85
All plus shipping.

Re: WTB: 1967 specific parts

Is this for a heater delete truck, or just “cleaning” things up? Curious what the plan is for the heater delete and heater controls…

Re: WTB: 1967 specific parts

68bowtie, looking for a 67 specific heater control assembly and am always on the search for a super rare heater delete plate to take its place if I can ever find another one. My truck currently has an empty space to fill.

Re: WTB: 1967 specific parts

What’s your budget for a heater delete plate?
As in how bad do you want one?
They’re something you don’t see very often and I’ve been collecting truck parts for about 40 years.
I have one, just not sure I want to sell it.

I am just wondering if the lighter delete button is the same for 67 as it is on other years?

Re: WTB: 1967 specific parts

Here is what i found.
Mirror: Glass is ok with some light speckling. Back has some scratches like someone scraped something off there.
Horn cap is pretty decent with a little pitting on the chrome. Tabs look good.
$150 shipped for both.

Could u post a pic of the heater delete plate? I’ve never seen one and would like to know what to look for at swap meets. Does it look like a larger radio delete?

Re: WTB: 1967 specific parts

It’s very close to the same size and looks the same on the front face. On the back though you will see 4 metal tabs. The radio delete plate’s don’t have the tabs.

I think I have this stuff you still need:

Quote:
67 deluxe choke knob assembly

Cigarette lighter delete button

67 Driver side chrome vent window assembly to match my passenger side. Mine has only chrome on the upright where the roll up window glass channel is at. The vent window frame is all black.
I will check in the morning.

OK, I have a pretty decent '67 drivers side chrome/stainless wing vent window with clear glass. I consider this to be above average for a 55 year old part. I would replace the rubber gasket if I was going to use it on anything but a DD. Pivots are good, handle works good. No dents, dings or scratches. $75 + shipping. Satisfaction is guaranteed on this.

I have a NOS lighter delete plug/button. $15 shipped.

I do not have a deluxe choke knob. I think a person could use a deluxe headlight knob for this.

Here is the frame bracket you asked me about. I actually have 2 different ones. I know the Black one that is still on the frame is from a '72 GMC. Not sure what the other one is off of.

I think I can get the one off of the frame OK. The engine is in it though.

$15 ea + postage.
