Round Bed Holes- What are They?
I am installing the bed kit in my 60 short bed fleetside and have too many holes! There are 2 holes in front of each wheel well that are round instead of square. Since they are not made for the square shoulder bed carriage bolts I'm not sure what they are for. I couldn't find anything about them in the manual. I would appreciate someone telling me what they are for and yes this is my first rodeo. Thanks.

Re: Round Bed Holes- What are They?
I just finished the bed wood in my 62 fleetside. Didn’t remember those and double checked and i do not have those extra holes. Are they on both sides? If not then maybe what jayoldschool said. Serve no purpose otherwise

Re: Round Bed Holes- What are They?
Thanks for the replies. They are on both sides and are symmetrical. I will just throw a few bolts in them.

I have the manual but nothing tells what they are from what I can see.

Re: Round Bed Holes- What are They?
Id be hesitant on putting unnecessary bolts in. That would allow more moisture into the wood and rot it out. Id would plug it with some jb weld or just leave them the way it is. Just my thoughts
