1969 k10 4 Speed to Automatic swap Brake Pedal

I am going to be collecting parts this year to convert my K10 from a SM465 to a 4L80E. Regarding the brake pedal assembly, is an Automatic brake pedal assembly the same as a Manual with the clutch pedal removed? Or should I replace the whole assembly? I've never seen an automatic one up close to notice the differences.

Same pedal assembly between auto and manual. The clutch pedal just slides in or out of the assembly.

Your going to need the plate that covers the clutch rod hole. I have one.

How did this drivetrain swap work out?
ii have a 72 K10 4sp and wish to convert. did you do all the math and was it all worth it? is the truck better/easier to drive? Not so much worried about gas mileage, but curious as to driveability. Ideas?

Can you post a picture? I'm converting mine to an auto right now and I've just zip tied the clutch pedal out of the way for now, but I do wish to move it when I convert to power brakes. As I tried to remove it already but it gets cought uo, so I'll have to remove the whole assembly inside.

Here’s the clutch hole cover for the firewall. You can see it in the middle of the picture, just below my hydraboost accumulator, by the rear of the exhaust manifold. Sorry I don’t have a better shot of it handy. I don’t think you have to remove the pedal assembly to get the clutch pedal out but it’s been a while since I messed with mine.
