Hello from Florida
Hi all,
Liz just sorted out my joining, bless her! I appreciate her help. So I've just bought a 1969 C10 short bed with more rust than structural steel, as it's a true coastal truck. This is also my first ever Chevrolet, as my wife's dad has 49 Stepsides and is converting me. The plan for this truck is to get it ready to do the Power Tour in June... So I think I'll need a lot of help and parts to get this thing to do 3,000 miles. Thanks, Alex |

Re: Hello from Florida
This is it, not much to look at now, though I do have big plans! Just get it road worthy first!

Re: Hello from Florida
Welcome!
I would sort out the mechanical stuff first because you can still go on power tour with rusty panels

That's the plan. Get something that drives, stops and steers and then we'll get to making it look pretty. I'm excited. Though a lot of unknowns about old Chevy trucks. |

Re: Hello from Florida
Welcome! The truck looks really cool already. If you wanted to start a build thread, it would be cool to see your preparation efforts for the power tour and maybe even take us along with pictures and commentary.
