I bought my 71 gmc back!!
Whell what can I say I missed the dang thing and saw it was up for sale so I jumped on it and got it back. It needs some love kid just drove it and beat on it. That's it. Did nothing els to it beside wreck the grill gard and led taillight. Houstly kinda disgusted how it was treated. When I whent to look at it again I smelled raw fule. So I popped the hood and thares gas all over the intake. It was just a lose hoes clamp. But the kid had no idea. Would burn down no doubt. Fixed the blinker right away. Looked like he kicked the flasher using the clutch and bent the taps all up. The. Then heater controls. I think the rivets that hold it all together broke and the sliders are all messed up. The dash pad looked like it aged 15 years since I sold it. Thares more to but I'm rambling.lol. I don't have any pictures of olive in its current state. O and no tailagte topper or mud flaps. Just gone. Good thing I saved the original gmc tailgate. Back to sqaure one I gess. Lol. Still glad I git it back. Saved it any way

Glad you were able to get it back. But as you experienced, that`s why I never want to see a vehicle I sell ever again. I like to keep my vehicles clean and well maintained, generally most people do not. It`s happened to me before and bummed me out.

Gess he did put exhaust on it. But you can't here it over the belt squealing.

Everybody wants them. Not as many take care of them. Sounds like you should have sold it for more. Might have ended up better taken care of. But you never know how foolish some are with their money. Taking good care of it is back on you now.
