Hello, I have a western snowplow setup off my cousins 64 chevy k10 plow truck he bought and besides a little metal work needed it's in great shape and I would like to swap it to a truck of my own. Can I swap it on a 67-72 GM truck, or would the frame mount only work on a 63-66?

Is that plow forced into that truck? Looks like the sheet metal is bent to make it fit.

Hard to say. This truck is so rusty and beat up I'm not to sure. I saw that to when looking at the pictures after I posted them

Almost looks like when the front fender was ripped off, it pulled the bottom of the grille support panel down in the process.

The frames between the years are similar, but where the bumper mounts is different, so depending on how the plow mounts, that might be an issue

The mount in the pics looks to me like a cobbled together setup. The plow and parts of the frame might be useful, but I'd look at actual pro-built setups to get an idea of how to make a plow frame that doesn't work like this one.
When facing the front right wheel lugs, you'd want a triangular side plow frame that attaches to the truck frame horizontally (more or less), drops vertically to the plow mount, then at an angle connects to the rear of the horizontal plow frame.
I did this years ago when putting a plow on a Jeep, and figuring it out by laying under trucks w/ plows.

The snowplow would only be used for fun, so I'm not worried about it working as nice as a newer style setup. I mainly want to have it since I love the old school snowplow trucks. if the 67-72 trucks have a similar size frame with front leaf springs the bottom mound should work but how different is the front of the frame rails for the top mount?
