1967 Axle Swap
So I have a 1967 gmc k10 that I am starting to build, I would like it to have disc brakes on the front but you can’t get a conversion kit for it. I do have a 1977 Gmc jimmy 4x4 that i can use for parts and was wondering if the axels from the jimmy would bolt up to 67. Has anyone done this or have any advice on other options would be greatly appreciated!

Re: 1967 Axle Swap
Here’s a thread that is active right now that should help you out. The front shouldn’t be a problem but you will probably have to add power steering to your k10 to make the drag link work with the new axle. I would swap the whole axle assembly over. Individual parts from one axle to another isn’t going to work with the closed knuckle assembly on the 67.
