Fresh air Vent under cowl
I've been searching for information on the A/C-Fresh air venting for my 70 C10. I think I have it all figured out as to how it works but now I have an issue with my original vent. As you can see in the picture the pivot has broken off. I believe I could JB weld it and it will hold but also the rubber seal is dried out and breaking off. I searched some of the vendors but I couldn't fing a source for the vent or the rubber seal. I would like to keep the system as it was originally designed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

LMC also has that, p/n 32-0790, A/C Air Shut-Off Valve, $29.95. Page 180 of the PDF catalog. https://media.lmctruck.com/pdf/CB/cbComplete.pdf

Re: Fresh air Vent under cowl
Thanks for the help on finding a vendor. Thought I would try to fix the one from my truck. Some JB Weld and rubber gasket material. Hopefully it will hold up. If not now I know where to get a replacement.

Re: Fresh air Vent under cowl
I've found that jimmy-rigging broken/worn GM parts, I can expect fit and functionality 1000% better than brand new Chinese parts. True story!
