Rear Shock Relocation for Stock Height

So I like the way this rear shock relocation was done by Frizzle_Fry http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...05&post4730005

My question is, has anyone done this with a stock height truck, and how has it worked for you? Were you able to use the factory rear shock, or did you need to change shocks?
Again, I'm keeping my truck at stock height, so I'm wondering if it's worth the effort or only good for lowered trucks.

CW ill be drawing up a rear bracket for my 65 c20 to use at stock height. Plasma cut. Can do 3/16 and up. ill let you know when its done. Im using my own truck for fit testing. Might be able to hook you up

Front bracket I made. Put a preliminary bend in it. Angle has not been set yet. Came out tits

I used the no limit.net shock relocate kit on a stock height 66. You have to get taller shocks, but it cleans up rear and makes exhaust routing easier. It’s similar in function to what you referenced

Did you notice any difference between stock and relocated characteristics?

I never had the chance to drive it before I installed it. No limit.net site lays out all the virtues, It really cleaned up space for exhaust
