69 Interior color?
As I am looking through some pics I am wondering about this one. It list the inteior as with what I believe is a 607 code (4607GB). Are the door panels and seat cover supposed to be that much of a color difference? Just looks a bit odd to me. Was it common to see a different like this on certain colors? Maybe the more I look at the side of the seat that it does look to be a darker blue material. Two tone?

Re: 69 Interior color?
69 had several 2 tone colors. Seat belts were probably dark blue covers w/light blue belts.

Re: 69 Interior color?
I'm willing to bet that interior is all original. If I remember correctly 69 was a special year for cool two-toned seats. Notice the side panels are dark blue and the seating surface is lighter. The seat side panels, door panels, steering column and steering wheel are all dark. I'd imagine the visors are dark too.
Take a look at this nice original 69 (without the custom cloth option yours has) and see that the light & dark combination matches how yours is laid out. Last edited by cericd; 03-09-2022 at 07:52 PM. |

Also found this green example in my archives. Same sort of light & dark combo. Notice the seat belt colors on both trucks more closely match the seating surface than the rest of the "darker" parts of the interior.

Re: 69 Interior color?
Yes, your interior is typical blue for '69.
