Hi all just another dude looking for sum proper 68-72 short box sides, mine are beat to hell, what I have seen over the years is that there is like one or two makers of after market parts and everyone and their mum just resells the same junk, so my question is: them $600 dollar bed sides I keep seeing those are just for the outter skins? I figure I ask as the pics do not show a 360° view just the outter sides

I ask cause if I'm about to cut, weld and grind, I might as well pound what I gots into submission and cover it up with a gallon or two of bondo, Craigslist Style!

I am pretty sure full bedsides are available. They are for the Blazers. I’m also sure that someone else will chime in to confirm or disagree.

I think all of the full bed sides are complete with the inner and outer panels. The ones I bought from "Classic Parts" were for sure. They were $500 each when I bought them.

thanks Leon I like Classic Parts have been buying from them for years, they are now $625 a piece plus $55 for tax and no idea how much for shipping

good tip, $630 from them plus $55 tax and $134 for shipping, but they may be just close enough to me 134 miles to drive up there and pick these up, though gas prices are crazy right now

I got my bed sides from lmc and was complete with the inner panel and they waved the shipping costs because I bought both sides. They was in nice shape, no damage from shipping and fit really well to my factory bed floor. I ordered my tailgate from summit because LMC didn't have it in stock at the time, it wasn't packaged as well as my bedsides and had a few dents and dings from shipment. It may also be the difference in freight shipping and FedEx or ups, freight I think is more careful. The figment of the tailgate wasn't very good but I'm sure most of our truck parts are made at a couple different places. Anyhow the shipped price on my bedsides in December was just over $1,100.

I don't know of any bedside skins ever being made in reproduction. I'm not sure GM ever sold just skins

Some of the vendors will bring your order to a show if there is a big one in your area. However, some of them may not stock them and are just drop shippers from the manufacturer.
