Steering column wires ?
My steering column Connector is broken 72 Stepside. Going with Auto Wire Universal kit. Going to splice the wires. Need to know what color wires do what. Should be very simple once I find the purpose of each color wire. Thanks

Re: Steering column wires ?
The American Auto Wire kit I purchased had great instruction in it. Including what wire did what. I believe you can also download them from the site.

I don't know about the other components but if someone wires their windshield wiper the way that diagram shows they will have some (Hopefully) blown fuses or at the least melted wires. It shows the Yellow 12v + connected to the same terminal as the Black ground wire and another Yellow 12v + connected to the same terminal as the Light Blue Ground wire for the Hi speed wipers. Those would both be direct shorts to ground. I would check that whole schematic very closely.... LockDoc
