i have a 80 gmc truck i am fixing to start a restoration on and want to go ahead and get the grill sorted out. does anyone know of a shop or a individual that could restore the grill? its going to need the chrome restored also. thanks in advance for any help.

There’s a guy on Facebook that restores grilles and then sells them. In fact I think he has one like yours for sale. Let me message him and see if he restores grilles for people.

Yes he says he restores people grilles, and restores some that he finds and then sells them. Says he’s kind of busy, but I’ll send you a PM for his name. Then you guys can work out the details.

I bought mine out of a salvage yard and since it wasn't in great condition I redid it myself. You could do the same I am sure.

Its not hard just takes some time.

i found one, i finally had time to search for one. actually within a 1 hour drive from my shop. gmc emblem is faded but it's in excellent shape.
