68 3ott steering wheel help!

Happy Easter to everyone!! I need some help , I going to get my truck soon and was going to stop at some junk yards when I’m out west. How may spokes are on the 68 c10 wheel with 3 ott? The wheel on the truck shows 2 and is in bad shape so I would like to replace it with a better one. Also it looks like it not the right wheel. I know from here that the 68 has a longer ring then the 67 so any help would be nice here’s a pic of the one that’s on the truck now. it should have a 17 wheel right anything small will get in the way of shifting?

Re: 68 3ott steering wheel help!

Welcome aboard.
I certain the wheel in the picture isn't a 68 Chevrolet truck wheel. A 68 will have 3 spokes (See photo) and someone please correct me if I'm wrong but, there is no specific 3OTT steering wheel.

Re: 68 3ott steering wheel help!

I love my column 3 speed. I wouldn't change it. They can be temperamental if the levers under the hood are not adjusted and greased and if you try to shift too fast. Factory 67-8 Steering wheel
