1967 LS3 swapped, 5 speed shortbed
Never thought I'd be doing this so soon, but up for sale is my 1967 C10 CST shortbed fleetside. 480hp GMPP LS3 crate engine, Holley front end accessory drive, Tremec TKX600 5 speed, brand new McLeod dual friction clutch, billet flywheel and hydraulic throw out bearing, 3.73 positraction with Henry's axles, Old Air Products A/C. 44,000 miles on entire truck and 1150miles on engine, 400 miles on transmission and clutch, Entropy aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, driveshaft and complete front end rebuild with Moog components. Custom stainless steel upper and lower radiator hoses. Lowered with ECE 3.5/5" kit, CPP tubular upper control arms, 5 gauge dash with speed warning, Doug Thorley ceramic coated tri-y headers with Hooker Blackheart 2.5 inch stainless exhaust. Boyd's welding tank with pump in tank, Halibrand wheels, disc brakes up front with ECE dropped spindles, lots more. Power steering and brakes with custom brake lines. CPP front and rear sway bars. New carpet and high hump trans cover. Many 1 off and powdercoated pieces. Almost all of the work was done by Scott Sebastian of Metalcraft Motorsports, and if you know him you know he doesn't do things halfway. Custom fabricated tubular transmission crossmember. There are a couple hundred hours of labor in this truck. Truck is pretty fast and gets looks everywhere it goes. Titled to me and registered until October 2022. Was a long bed and converted with ECE frame fishplate kit under cab. All reproduction bed but tailgate. Needs some finishing, but all the hard work is done. Drive it as is or take it to the next level. More pics to come. 34k obo. Would trade for a deuce highboy or 1962-72 Nova, 1965-72 el Camino.

Curious if the truck is still available or if it has sold?

Re: 1967 LS3 swapped, 5 speed shortbed
cant tell you how many times I've stopped in to look at this ad. Exactly what I was planning on doing to my '66. I like '67's almost as much as the earlier body, and the hard work is done...
Half of me wishes you were closer, and the other half is glad you are 2500 miles away.... |

Re: 1967 LS3 swapped, 5 speed shortbed
3045 incident free miles, and this beautiful 67 C10 now resides in Yorktown VA on the east coast. For all of you who looked at the add, and didn't act - your loss is my gain, this truck is absolutely clean and in unbelievable condition. Ideaman has done a great job with this truck getting it to this point, and I will take it to the next point, in time. Huge shout out to you Ideaman, I appreciate you working with me over the past few weeks to make this possible. The drive was great, no problems at all. That one little thing I'll get figured out sooner or later = ).
Thanks again for the awesome ride - DP |
