pinion nut size
what size socket do i need to remove the pinion nut on a 3/4 ton rear end? my 1 1/2" socket dosen't fit. looks to be a weird size.

1 3/8 for the dana. Had to buy one of those myself in 3/4 inch drive. There tight... I was after the power lok and gears and the yard guys turned the truck over for me as I couldn't get the leverage needed under the truck to break the pinion nut loose. Dont worry the truck was worked over before they flipped it.

What about a 12 bolt. I have every socket execpt that one. A 30mm will all most work.
