79 front axle and rear end

Have a 79 3/4 ton frame that I need to get rid of. Rust is the issue. It seems to have the corporate axles and rear end. I need to get the area cleaned up because I'm a pack rat and its a mess.
Obviously everyone wants the Dana stuff, but do these have any value at unless someone needs to replace one quickly? If so any idea on what it would be? Trying to decide if I need to take the time to unbolt it or not.

Thank you

Re: 79 front axle and rear end

Absolutely they have value..not sure where you are,
Being Dana or corp10 doesnt add or takeaway value to me
Is rear semi float or full float?
but at the right price, and in usable condition ,I'd buyem..
the last 2 sets of 3/4 ton axles I got were hard to find, the last set I got ,i gave $500 for

Re: 79 front axle and rear end

79 should be the 10.5 Full floating Corp 14bolt
The 10 bolt shares a lot of parts with the Dana 44

Re: 79 front axle and rear end

Thank you for your responses. It was a 79 full time 3/4 ton full time front axle. I will see if I can find any tags on either end. I had to quit driving that one several years ago because the cab started rusting off the frame.
We found another 3/4 ton painted frame that is also full time. My son has a decent 84 body that we plan to put on it. It looks like i need to spend some time figuring out what we have exactly. How do I determine if it is semi float or full float?
Thank you

Re: 79 front axle and rear end

I had a guy buy a complete front 8 lug 10 bolt from me just for the hubs for his 67-72.

The 3/4 8 lug full float 14 bolt is a great bolt in upgrade for any 1/2 ton or 3/4 with a semi float axle.

$400-500 for a set seems like a good going price in my area.
