1972 3/4 ton Rear Brake Lines 2 piece set

What's the difference between a 3/4 ton and a 1/2 ton? Will it work or interchange?

REAR AXLE BRAKE LINE SET-OM-2PC
2 WHEEL DRIVE 1/2 TON 72
this is all that's showing on LMC truck Parts and its coil springs where mine is leaf springs.

i can't say if the steel lines,1/2 ton to 3/4 are the same or not but there is a difference with the flex hose, leaf springs to coils, seems to me the coil spring truck has a hose 12 or so inches long and the leaf spring truck is 18,or the other way around,i changed mine a year ago so i may have it backwards but for sure a difference there with the flex hose.

Re: 1972 3/4 ton Rear Brake Lines 2 piece set

hi,i thought about this today,i would expect that because of the different rear end housings between 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton and the size of the housings, and then coil or leaf springs,i'd be very surprised if the hard lines would swap around.i did just look up the flex hose and the coil spring hose on a 3/4 ton truck is 13.25 inches long and the leaf spring like mine needed, was 18 inches or so.that hose changes between 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks so that's different as well.if you need the hard lines, can you make them or buy a length of flared brake hose as long as you need, at your local autoparts store and form it to fit?
