Alternator replacement
The alternator finally died in my truck. This came with the serpentine belt system from a '79 Chev truck. If it is the original alternator it is about 40+ years old. The problem is this alternator is now obsolete so I need to know if there is anything I need to do to put in newer 1 wire unit? The old one has a separate plug in for a jumper wire and a wire to the volt gauge. How would I hook up the meter on a newer alternator
