Nice truck and they spent all the money building it , BUT, All that and then pop rivits on the vin plate ? that could be an issue in some states .

Interesting truck. Always wanted a titanium connecting rods and sodium filled valves with a dry sump! 505Hp in stock form.
The Crate motor is 570hp.
Right now it has 6 hours to go and the price is at $66K. Likely under the build price.
I'm not bidding on it because it is missing the stainless around the windows. <LOL>
I expect it to go for north of six figures.

Re: 1969 C10 Restomod on BaT ends today!

Grumpy, I was going to say the same thing. I have looked at most of the nice restomod trucks that have sold on BaT and there are very few with original rosette rivets. Every time there is a nice truck on BaT that is the first thing I go looking for.

I was under the impression that in some states they did a VIN inspection and this would be a problem.

I do want to say this is in the top 5 restomod trucks that have been on BaT. Surely the price will run up near the end.

Not withstanding the title issues. The truck is amazing and I consider it a buy at that price.

I'm sorry. Obviously a very nice build with great parts. 650+ HP with a 245 tire on a No Limit suspension? Also, wheels and stance make any build, and this thing needs serious help. Great work and great parts, though.

At first I was gonna call you a critical jerk.

Then I clicked back on the link and immediately realized why you say that. Yep.
All the horsepower in the world and the stance is awkward looking.

I know nothing about customizing backspacing(or how to calculate it properly); but I know what looks right. Nothing in the world ruins any car as bad/quickly as backspacing/offset issues.

Are most of you that jealous of this truck?, all your snarky comments are high school bs. It’s why I never take any of my builds to car shows because of people like you. Stay in your little garages where you don’t complete a thing and snark on someone else’s work.

Fuhgeddaboudit , it's a nice truck . i don't think anyone's jealous of it at all , I think a lot of us would like to own it but now it's sold so that's the end of it. Your on an open anonymous hobby truck build site and everyone has their own opinions of what looks good and budget they have to work in even me in my little garage with my unfinished truck build it's still fun and I can appreciate the truck and the amount of work put into it just like all the other guys in here . As far as snarky comments I didn't even mention the tape letters on the tailgate . Just Kidding ya . it's a nice truck ,well done .

77K might seem like a lot of money, but that truck has to easily have that much in build costs.

Great truck all around (to me), but we all have our likes and dislikes, so thats what youre going to see on an discussion board.
