Attention brake guys
Hey all, i have a disc drum setup and i have 3/16” lines for front and 1/4” line for drums. The line kit I purchased has both lines that run over cross members are 3/16”! I guess what i’m asking,is it ok to run 3/16” off the prop valve and then adapt to 1/4”at passenger side of crossmember?

I think that is the same way my 62 is setup - I know there are two different sizes in my system. I don't think it matters.

Admittedly mine is a '70, but when I converted to front disc brakes. I used the factory steel lines to supply the calipers.

I did a wack of research on this very thing for me '61. The consensus seems to be "it doesn't matter." I bought a couple brake nuts that allow me to run it all in 3/16" line.
