Does anyone make stainless steel braided brake lines for a 1987 r30?
I have done some checking(maybe not enough) but haven't seen anybody that has any available. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

For legal reasons, I advice you not to do anything that I suggest because modifying brake systems is dangerous and potentially life threatening and should only be done by experienced mechanics...
That being said, in the past, I've just bought -3 AN to inverted flare fittings to attach to existing steel brake lines, then bought appropriate length -3 AN brake hoses that are already assembled and it's worked for me. It's not as ideal as brake hoses that have the correct fittings on them already, but it works. I think there are some hoses out there that have banjo fittings on them already. If you don't see the correct size banjo fitting on a hose, you can get -3 an to banjo fittings by themselves. See below. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/rus-657042 https://www.summitracing.com/parts/hdt-lf-012 If you go this route, I advise you to only use Russell branded brake hoses. They are superior to others brands. |
