Rack and pinion upgrade
Morning fellas.
Looking for some advise and direction. I've searched the furom but couldn't find anything on this product. Before i start. I have a 61 gmc carryal that i just pancaked the crossmember and now looking to upgrade the steering. From what I read the geometry changes after pancaking the crossmember and have read that one of the best ways to fix it is by going rack and pinion. Which one should I get? Also if i have to spend 3k on it might as well buy a drop member. I'm looking to stay under 1k. Here is one I've been eyeing and it's in stock Unisteer Performance 8011910-01 - Unisteer Rack and Pinion Conversion Kits Would this work? |

It's pretty much the same thing. If you wanted to could you go up another 2 inches of course you would have to notch the frame |
