Rear carpet question.

I'm thinking of ordering the rear carpet set from ACC for my Burban. My question is would the center carpet piece lend itself to being removed occasionally? It would be nice to be able to take it out when I have to haul something dirty. I believe my truck originally came with the rubber mat so I don't have any of trim pieces to hold the carpet down.

Knowing how the center piece fits to the fender well and fuel fill cover would be nice. Do they lap over the center piece or does the center lap over them?

Would the Mass Backing option help or hinder the removal?

I realize that on one else may have done this so opinions are most welcome.

Thanks in advance.
