Hello from Parksville, British Columbia

Hi all.
New member from Parksville, BC here.
Just picked up a 1972 GMC C2500 Custom.
She is in pretty good shape overall.
114k original miles. Pretty stock except for intake, carb, electronic ignition, and the interior that has been redone.
Great starting point for my first project.
Will need a new bed floor eventually, but could still use it as a daily driver.
Looking forward to the advice and opinions of fellow members on this amazing site.
Thanks all

Brett

Re: Hello from Parksville, British Columbia

Hi there geezer#99.
It needs some love, but good starting point.
New carb, intake from late 60's Vette, brakes all redone, rebuilt transmission, re-cored rad.
Also came with 2 replacement doors, 1 replacement fender, replacement wheel tubs for the bed, as well as some miscellaneous bits and bites.
I got a smokin deal on it to make it even sweeter.
I looked at the pics of your trucks.
Beautiful.
I hope mine will look half as good as yours when I am done.

Re: Hello from Parksville, British Columbia

I drove through Parksville for the first time - at low tide - a few weeks ago, nice town.

Your GMC looks like mine would have looked like, before some redneck diesel mechanic got hold of it. Looking forward to following along.
