AC mode motor timing
Had to replace my mode motor on my 2001 Silverado 2500. The plate came out with the motor. The new part came with the new plate . Cant get the white gear and new plate gears to work. How do you set the timing on these gears? I have tried different settings but it still wont work with the switch on the dash panel.
You tube videos don't show that part because it is a real pain to get to this part. Any help is appreciated. Been on this for a week and still can't get all the heat and air to blow out of the right places. |

Re: AC mode motor timing
Usually you remove the HVAC/ECAS fuse, install the motors, and re-install the fuse.
Don't touch the HVAC controls while they re-learn their positions. It'll take a few minutes. if that doesn't work you can probably force a recalibration with a Tech2.
