Choppin Block back half install help

So I am installing the Choppin block back half on my 67. I’ve already cut the frame but thankfully left a bunch as the no instructions thing wanted me to be triple sure.

I removed one cab mount and went to check the new Choppin block cab mounts since they center the whole backhalf and new trailing arm crossmember. The new cab mounts have a larger bolt pattern than my stockers. I’m not sure how to line these up, especially as I haven’t seen anyone else on YouTube or google search notching holes just opening them up more for the larger bolts.

Any help? Or did they screw up and send me wrong stuff? The no instructions for this kit make me wish I had thought harder about the brand I went with.

No instructions? Just spend your money here, chop your truck in half, and good luck with it? Unbelievable!

They used to just throw all the hardware in one massive bag and called it a day. They at least bag the hardware and tag it for each piece now.

There’s a reason I bought the KP front.

Re: Choppin Block back half install help

do you have the "extreme" kit? i found the backhalf kit on az pro performance and if you scroll down to "whats included", just under it is a link to instructions. hopefully its the same kit as yours.

Re: Choppin Block back half install help

I wonder if that's an oddity of the 67 frame. When I cut my frame for shortbed conversion and had to move the cab mounts back, I made a CAD template of where the holes were. I just looked and my cab mounts were 5 5/16 wide by 2 11/16 high... 5.3125w and 2.6875h
