6 cylinder engine stands

My new roller was sans the engine, but I, also, discovered they removed the frame stands. Are they the same as a V8 ?
I will also need the small brackets that mount to the engine. I have a built 292 to install, but of course, it has none of the parts beyond the block.
Thanks

I recently sold all my 292 extra parts to CarolinaHD contact him about what you need . The 292 engine and mounts are their own special animal you need 292 specific mounts , the V8 and 250 6 engine mounts won't work to install a 292 in your truck , Good luck finding the 292 mounts they are hard to find and usually a bit more expensive to buy .

Re: 6 cylinder engine stands

Well dang, guess I had to go and make my own life more difficult...
I seem to recall something about that now. It's been 7-8 years since I had this 292 built for a different vehicle.
Thanks, I'll see about contacting him.

Re: 6 cylinder engine stands

Only the passenger side engine stand is 292 specific. Drivers side is the same as 250

Re: 6 cylinder engine stands

OOPS it is the right side mount that bolts to the frame that is different and not the one that bolts to the engine, it is just a few inches ahead of the drivers side mount on the block.

The greasy orange one being my 292 and the blue one being someone else's 250.

These pics were posted by one or more members of the various stands to help in determining the differences between each and their proper location on the frame.
