1972 Blazer ID Help

I just bought a 1972 Blazer.
Original paint, lots of patina.
It's got a 4" lift and larger tires.
As well as fuel injection.
Looking forward to getting it.
In the mean time I'd like to start searching for parts and doing some homework, so I'm hoping you all would help me out.
1) Spare tire carrier: It has the holes in the body for one but no carrier. I'm trying to identify what I need to find that would fit in the currently holes. (See pics). Any thoughts??
2) I'd also like to ID this wheel. Seller says American Racing but I can't find an AR that looks the same with the holes for the center cap. (See pics). Anyone know?
3) Side Mirrors: I'm guessing someone changed to originals to the little ones but left the holes. I'd like to get the originals and hopefully cover the bottom holes and the holes where the existing mirrors are. (See pics) Thoughts?

Re: 1972 Blazer ID Help

4) Also, this truck is not a CST but someone added the badges to the doors. Are these typically stick on badges or am I going to have more holes to deal with.
Thanks

Re: 1972 Blazer ID Help

Hello and welcome to the K5 club. I watched that sale on BAT and glad you ended up with it. Joining this site as a member would benefit the build in that you would be able to post WTB for the parts you need and there are a lot of helpful folks to assist.

To answer your questions:
1) The existing mirrors appear to be the correct examples it was assembled with. Those extra door holes are from a non-OE mirror since removed.
2) A swing away carrier was present such as a Hickey example
3) Not sure
4) CST emblems have studs inserted through door holes - any evidence yours have double stick tape?

Re: 1972 Blazer ID Help

@DeadHeadNM
Thanks for the reply.

I think I have found a tire carrier that matches those holes.
I just need to decode if I want to open the $$ on a carrier, matching rim & tire.
I don't like the holes but I'm not 100% sold on the carrier/rack set up either.

Hopefully someone can ID the wheels.

Mirror and CST badge holes I guess I could get small plastic plugs and paint them body color to make them less noticeable.

Thanks for the replies.
After thinking about it I'll probably go back to white steelies and factory caps and sell these off.

If anyone has pics of the spare tire carrier that will match the existing holes in my Blazer, would you mind posting them please?
I want to know what I'm looking for.
Thanks in advance!!

I looked back at the original thread and you actually passed on it just before I purchased it. Yes it is a 4 wheel pop up.

I was thinking about your matching spare dilemma. I always ran a tire cover on mine with a plain steel wheel. No one would ever know.
