Concours de Maryhill 2022 The GM trucks
I took my annual trip up to the Maryhill Museum on the columbia river for the annual Maryhill Museum Car show aka Concours De Maryhill. It's a nice laid back event in a beautful spot.
The first truck I came up on was Hogfarm' Black 54 looking great as always. The second one was nice 69/70 short box stepside with a big block. Here is my album from the show, I didn't take photos of most of the newer stuff as new Corvettes with just bought it yesterday stickers don't get me too excited nor do most 60's and 70's full size cars that don't have something really special going for them. https://robertdavison.smugmug.com/20...Maryhill-show/

Re: Concours de Maryhill 2022 The GM trucks
A couple of 60/66 trucks both real nice. That rootbeer brown is every bit as hard to get good photos of as black is. The details just flat get lost in the dark color.
Then we have Hogfarm's AD truck pick of the day, I've seen it a few times before and it is a serously nice truck.

When there aren't many GM trucks at a show and yours has a lot of nifty details you get more photos.
And sometimes when o'l Rob messes up you get a photo of hawk sitting on a pole at the Toppenish wildlife refuge at sunset tossed in the mix. That was 6548 rather than 6748.

Re: Concours de Maryhill 2022 The GM trucks
This 55/56 just flat spun my wheels. I've wanted a 55/56 Big window since the 70's and have never found one I could afford. Lots of nifty details on this one
I had to edit the dude in the third photo out of some of the others of it as he was just as interested in it as I was.

Re: Concours de Maryhill 2022 The GM trucks
I had to do a detail shot of the gas filler and the tailight on the TF. Nice, I don't know how the paint will hold up in the long run but that is slick.
I don't know if the gal with the Mini was happy or apprehensive when I took the photo but lets hope happy. There were several nifty Minis out there. Rootbeer Brown Split bumper Camaro with round park lights, car wise it doesn't get any better than that. Two split bumpers out there today. The Gold one holding down the far end of the back row.

Re: Concours de Maryhill 2022 The GM trucks
Well at least it started as a truck but this rig is trick. 36 Ford bobber truck with a straight 8 Buick with six carbs and a basket of snakes headers. That is just the start as it is full of nifty things and it was hard to get photos of it because of the crowd around it.

This 68 was sweet, almost original looking at first glance then you start seeing lots of details.

A couple more detail shots of the 68. Restraint with the louvers in the hood looks pretty sweet
The seat looks fantastic in that truck.
