A/C mounting

The A/C is down on my truck due to the wreck a couple of months ago and the compressor leaks too, so I was wanting to rebuild the system. The only thing I realy don't like about it is the compressor mounting bracket. It is the one on the passenger side that bolts to the exhaust manifold, over the valve cover and on to the intake. Is there another mounting system I could use with this or another type of compressor that is a little nicer? I have newer heads with accessory holes in them if that helps.
BTW I have a '67 C-10, short W/P, power steering, with a 350. Thanks.

Those are a nice set-up, can't use them if your headers don't turn down though, found that out the hard way and I had already powdercoated em'.

if you go to sanden suction fitting from compressor is #10 size fitting where original fitting from evaporator is #12 so you would have to modify hose to get to work and also most sanden compressors cycle with a binary or trinary switch where as a-6 uses poa valve and never cycles clutch.
