KIA... OK, let it rip!
I know that this is really a topic for the general discussion forum, but I must say I value the opinions in here better. My wife drives a 2000 KIA Sephia. So far we have had no major problems and the only minor one has been the battery. 66k miles and still going str- ...well, still going at least. Now my question is this;
Does anyone have any stories about KIA's in regards to safety or what breaks down or accidents? I'm starting to get that deer in the headlight feeling whenever I see my wife and kids leave the house. Paul, I read that your KIA had a fire? What happened there? Thanks to everyone in advance. P.S. Don't let your credit slip or you'll end up in one too!

Ive never owned one of them but ive worked at the Javits Convention Center and for three years in a row they came into the center and couldnt get them cars started so they had to be pushed into place. as for safety....therye about the size of a cockaroach. Years ago i saw an accident where a 96 dodge neon was rammed from behind by an 86 olds cutlass sedan the neon was small enough to fit on a coffee table after that. three kids in the back seat died in it. Since then ive driven vehicles with metal bumpers and a decent amount of metal on it. Y aknow i never saw older cars in wrecks sitting in four or five pieces on the road after a good wreck like ya see these rice burners all the time

Yeah, thats one of the reasons why I like my truck, I feel secure in it being high up and surrounded by good steel bumpers and body panels...
I have never owned a KIA, nor heard much about them myself...

OK Bob... now I feel safe! I have three kids in the back all the time. Good point, and thanks again.
