I’m getting my 72 c10 painted in a few months and would like to do something about my current grille. I have read about others that have used oven cleaner than sanded and polished. I haves seen that they sell reproduction steel and chromed ones I think if it would look and fit would be a nice look. I was wondering if anyone has tried one and are you happy with the way it fit the fenders?

I have a tri plus on my ‘70 for 5 years now. Nice fit and finish is nice.
