Maiden voyage yesterday. She did great considering she hasn't been on the road very much for the last few years.

Re: 69 C10 build. Gonna be another budget build

Well guys after looking at the truck from the front. I might have a bent frame. Front tires stick out further on the passenger side then it does on the driver's. I do know that the alignment is way off so I am going to have a shop that specializes in both alignment and frame straighten look at it and see what's wrong with it. I will try and get pictures later today after work.

Installed new tach, then swapped old burned out bulbs with blue LEDs. I like the look a lot. Next is paint for the gauge needles and new lens.

Does anybody know if a square body bench seat will fit a 69. Can't find any 69 bench seats, but tons of square body ones. Will the holes line up ect.

Re: 69 C10 build. Gonna be another budget build

Good luck finding a stock bench. I wanted a 68 bench seat for my 68, looked everywhere, the ones I found were more than i wanted to pay.

I got lucky and talked with a salvage yard owner in my area and he had a 69 bench sitting in the yard but it would need to be redone. A bit more talking and he gave me the seat, didn't cost me anything.

Pretty sure you have a few salvage yards in your area, go talk with them, you may be surprised.
