70 C10 stance sitting uneven

Been chasing this one all summer.

History of truck, was a $1800 farm truck, 1970 2wd C10 longbed. Nothing fancy, 307, th350. Have done a bunch of work, shortened frame, shortened bed to short bed. Rear end gears, lowered, 327, and now a 412. Cab corners, rockers. Poly body mounts, shocks, front disk conversion, etc.. alot of work over the past 3 yrs.

Was lowered by cutting one coil, gave me about 2.5" in the front and new rear springs gave me 4" drop. It was sitting level.

My issue since May 2022, the front left sits an inch higher, and right rear sits low an inch lower.
I had changed to front disk and poly body mounts then the stance changed. Have checked shocks, changed front springs to lower 3" spring, rear springs still measure equal. Pulled panhard bar, thought it was loaded up on one side.
Loosened all body mounts, and retighted, thought it was in a bind.

Any ideas of what to check next?

Kinda running out of ideas.

Thanks

Sounds like the right rear spring has "softened".. Swap them side for side and see if it leans the other way.. Also, if you have a sway bar, it's possible it's developed a twist and preloaded one side.

^^ this

and you would want to tighten all suspension parts you put in with suspension loaded (truck on tires on ground or cribbing)

you can swap the 2 rear springs or space the right rear if it's a coil spring rear

Thought about the sway bar too. Recently changed the bushings as one was almost entirely missing. Rode better. But still uneven.

Re: 70 C10 stance sitting uneven

Caint say I did it properly.

But I removed the left front core support. Somehow having all new poly body mounts has the truck skewed a bit.

Like I mentioned, it was a farm truck and the cab was pretty rusty. I think the floor of the cab has settled a bit, or the front frame is bent a bit. Hard to tell what the truck has seen over 52yrs.

Oddest thing, the driver door shuts like a new truck now
