Eec?????
I am trying to order fuel tanks for my 72 4x4 p/u and i need to kno what a EEC is. Can you please help?

Hi there,
EEC is evaporative emission control. it can be identified by a charcoal canister next to the battery and there is a hose from the tank that goes to a loop of hose in the upper rear passenger pillar and finally a small peace of hose on the filler neck to the fuel tank. Unique to the 71 and 72's those tanks have a couple extra hoses coming out of them.
