Air conditioning vent preference
I just ordered vintage air from MCB and it includes the vents for both sides of the dash but I see others use the stock looking vents and was wondering if it’s just for a matter of looks or do they rotate to blow air at a better position?

Re: Air conditioning vent preference
Vintage Air has and sells the OE looking vents. I have Classic Air in my truck same system different company. I got the OE vents from them. Heres a link for the Vintage Air ones.

Re: Air conditioning vent preference
Since my dash did not have AC, I went with the vintage air side vents in my 67 build rather than the factory style.
To me, the factory ones look too "added on" as they are big and bulking looking. Almost as if the were an afterthought when GM decided they would offer AC in these trucks....just my opinion..... I have two trucks with the factory style and I'm OK with them as is... The center vent is fine

Re: Air conditioning vent preference
I went with the factory style vents in Chrome / black . I picked up a cheap used set off the board and sacrificed them to use as a perfect pattern for cutting the dash . the supplied vents just looked too generic for me . Counterpart brand.
