Locating late model parts? Looking for a bench seat replacement
After a lot of research, I've found the best looking bench replacements (to me) are 2014+ Silverado rear seats. 95-99 Tahoe second row seats look nice as well (I'm not sure if other years are a good fit).
I've called around to local junk yards (many of the ones I used 20 years ago are gone now) and nada. How do you go about sourcing these? The LMC aftermarket ones are ok, but I really want a fold down center console that can accommodate a third passenger. The Pro Classic buddy consoles dont quite look right to me. If anyone has pics of them installed, that would be cool. Thanks and have a nice weekend!

Re: Locating late model parts? Looking for a bench seat replacement
I have found all my seats through Craigslist. They were the 2013 GMC buckets with the buddy bucket console that I decided not to use and later I found the 2006 ford bench seat I modified to be used with the 69 bench seat I picked up for $40 off Craigslist.

Did you set up search rules/alerts? It seems pretty tedious to check several cities each day

Re: Locating late model parts? Looking for a bench seat replacement
Nothing that sophisticated for this old dog. Knowing what seat I wanted before hand made searches simpler. Once I decided on the ford seat I searched "200* F150" & "ford parting" and "ford seat" and possibly some other combinations. I have found that using odd combinations can find ads posted by folks who don't know what they are selling.
