2003 GMC Sierra 2500 Floor Mat in a '71 GMC
forgive me I have done zero research on this topic but I scored this floor mat and pad out of a 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 standard cab at Pick-N-Pull for $9 bucks so I figure I give it a trial fit and share the results

I do plan on pressure washing it eventually and next summer when the temps are above 100°F I may lay it out in the sun to relax it a bit then take a heat pistol to it and see if we can deform it into submission

the carpet pad fits beautifully I think it may need to be shortened a tad in the rear with a nip and a tuck here and there and we're good to go

Re: 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 Floor Mat in a '71 GMC
the actual rubber mat appears to be a bit narrow, but as my forum friend, your forum friend Mark points out, nothing splitting the truck down the middle and taking out 4" can't fix
I think it will still flatten out a bit more with some heat and forming and extended out at least an inch per side, then some black sill plates should hide the gaps |
