thats..... weird. i dont like the 67-68 grille painted like that. the frotn fender flares are just weird! body work appears to be pretty good though. a late model dash? the chop isnt that bad... windshield was layed back excessive. the color would be decent with chromed grill and all that stuff...

I am not a fan of the newer model beds but I would have cut the back step to make it look a little sleeker. I like that custom look but this is a little too much for me.

I think it would look better if it were lower with bigger wheels. I do like the fact that he matched the wheel wells up. I agree with dinnut with the chop, it just doesn't look right.

I was just going to post the same thing that JayDubBlazer posted. They at least took the time to get the wheel openings to match front and back. I like the truck. A lot of good craftmanship in this.

Why the hell not just buy a 1994 pickup and chop it? At this point, you've removed EVERY part of the '68 that was '68ish except the grille. With the work he did, it would be easier and cheaper to buy a 1994, chop it and graft in the '68 grille. I'll never understand .

Looks like "Extreme Makovers" meets "Monster Garage"

To answer the question, I have no problem with the color though it would not make my top 5. It needs chrome trim as I never liked the monochromatic scheme (except on the mid-80's Monte Carlo SS)

I like it. I think it really looks like a concept truck gone retro, like what ford did with the mustang this last year. It's an old truck with a modern look. I wouldn't have done the dash and it would look much better with largewr wheels and a couple more inches drop, but I like it.

I don't like it. The way the late model and early model parts are blended make it look funny. But to each their own.

That color is off of PT Cruisers, I was actually gonna use that exact color on my 59' but found a nice Corvette blue instead. Still a very nice color, however the truck it is sitting on is a bit "different". It isnt my cup of tea, or bottle of beer if you will... But it takes skill to do that, and I admire it.
