67-69 vs 70-72 Front Leaf Spring Widths
Does anyone know what the differences are in the springs, or maybe the hangers and shackles?
Mine is a 72. The front leaf springs are 43" long, 2.5" wide in the middle and3" wide at the ends. Therefore the front hanger is about 3.5" wide. I think the rear hanger is about 3" wide, to accept the same harris bushing as does the rear eye of the spring. Now when I look for rubber bushings online i see they carry different harris bushings for 67-69 and 70-72. So are the 67-69 springs wider, or narrower or? Does anyone know the dimensions? Or does someone have a 67-69 with original front springs, who can measure directly? Thanks!

I do know the '69-earlier leafs are wider. Just not sure of the measurement.

I wish I could help with the ‘69 spring width but mine has a 4” lift under it. I’ll measure for the heck of it later today.
