Front brake hose help.., nuts or clips?

I just got replacement hoses for front and back. On the front, the factory setup is a large-hollow nut that attaches the hose to the inner frame rail. The replacement hose came with clips. Has anyone used the new hoses with clips, or are you re-using the original nut. The nut on passenger side is gone, so if I go that route I'll need to find one. Thanks for any help.

Many of the threads on brake hoses match standard sizes. I would try one, you might get lucky.
Cheers
