email "VIRUS" HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Virus from a person off ebay (Garys70Jimmy) or something like that his name is G.L. Knight. It's in the file folder and it's name is
jdbgmgr.exe it's icon is a teddybear and this is the instruction of how your suposed to get rid of it. Go to START,click find or search 2nd in the folderoption type the name jdbgmgr.exe 3rd Besure to search your C drive and all the sub folders and anyother drives you may have. 4th Click "find now" 5th The virus has a teddy bear icon with the name jdbgmgr.exe DO NOT OPEN 6th Go to edit(menu bar) and choose "Select All" to highlite the file without openning it. 7th Now go to "File"on the menu bar and select Delete it will then go to the recycle bin. Now I got this Virus and have done all of these instruction and cleared the issue up, Now someone else emailed me named Frank Thomas and I got the virus again and these instructions above dont fix it this time,but the email said to go to MS website and download something but I dont know what there talking about down loading can someone help and PLEASE NO EMAIL! Sorry so long but I'm pissed at myself rightnow! thanks Big O.

Well, I don't know if it is going to fly to crap or not But that file won't cause it. Even if you have deleted it already, don't worry about it, you probably will never need it anyway (just like that can of nuts and bolts that just appear after doing some work on the truck.)

Yep, its a hoax. You can tell because its never as simple as deleting one lousy file to get rid of a virus. A similar hoax went around not too long ago.

The email I sent out was the same one I recieved I got rid of the virus and email everone in my address book like it said and then cleand out my address book Gary

Virus Software
Donnie, what anti-virus software are you running? I use McAfee Anti-virus and Mcafee Firewall. I purchased mine online for $9.95 +shipping. It comes with a full year of updates, and in my opinion well worth the costs. I manage a call center where we do Desktop and Internet support and we get calls like this all the time. Below is a link to one of the many websites that offer the McAfee software, I just checked it and they now have it for $6.00 + shipping. There are many anti-virus software packages out there and it is mostly personal preference to which one you choose. But my suggestion is that you get one and keep it up to date.
