defroster pressure
how can i get more pressure out of my defroster right now it dosen't seem to have very much

Usually the deflector that sends the air to the defroster sticks or has junk in it that blocks it from closing all the way. Make sure that it works smoothly and completely and that your other air valves are working properly when you change thier position on the control panel. Also lubing the cables does wonders.

Oh, and one other thing, the ducts that up to the vents are notorious for having spiral lsits all the way up them or for falling off, cracking in two, etc. A new set of defroster hoses is 15 or 20 bucks.

One thing I do that seems to help a LOT is to roll down the window just a 1/2 inchor so. This makes it so the fan isn't trying to "pressurize" the cab (Even though many of you may argue that cour cab isnt very air tight to start with).
I would check the stuff listed in the post above first. Darren

also when i had the heater box of to replace my heater core all the deflectors seemed to work alright so my problem may be the hoses they are getting pretty hard and brittle
