Electric fans
2001 GMC 2500hd, 6.0. Had a radiator leak not to long ago, decided to buy a kit, rad, fans, shroud, some electrical to make it work. I definitely had to do some rigging to make it work until I could buy other things I need to finish the install.
It came with its own temp sensor that completes the ground circuit, this activating the fans. Question is, are their any plugged ports somewhere that I can replace with the sensor? Or is there a way to wire the ground into the existing coolant temp circuit? Thanks everyone. |

Re: Electric fans
The best way would be to get the ECM to control the fans. If you have someone with HP tuners or EFI live they can set you up. Google 2001 Silverado e-fan conversion, there's lots of info.
