Need a certain type of intake
This is a 4 barrel intake that came off a 84 to 86 Chevy Van with a 350 engine only and the last 3 digits in the casting # is 055 also on the right rear corner theres a symbol like a arrow with one point missing! Does anyone know where a intake like this is? The runners of the intake are 10 thousandth bigger then a regular car intake! I REALLY NEED ONE OF THESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man your talkin to the biggest packrat Youd be busy for hours lookin at all my crap Turns out i dont have an intake like you want ive got a ton o 076s 050 053 but no 055 Im the worlds worst about getting blown up motors and takin them apart and hoarding the parts because I know one day i can use them lol
The intake that came off that van had the heat stove choke so i guess it was a late 70s Last edited by 1972C10; 01-06-2004 at 01:03 AM. |

I found this on classicars auto racing rules
M. Any standard production GM small block Chevy intake for cars and trucks allowed. Commonly used casting numbers are 14057055, 14014432 and 10185063. They can be of 2 or 4-barrel design and cast iron or aluminum. They all have to be of the late model emissions type with EGR valve mount on the intake. It can be plugged off and not functional. No porting or polishing allowed. Any carburetor spacer or adapter and thickness allowed.

I dont know if you would call it a magazine conversion Step one remove trigger assembly Step two take out box magazine step three reinstall trigger assembly step four put in detach mag simple as that. I would like to get the kit to make it take Ak mags Since they are dirt cheap Anyone know where a person can obtain those little strips ? Last edited by 1972C10; 01-10-2004 at 09:16 PM. |
